His father is from Kenya and his mother is from Kansas.

President Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. He is the only President born outside of the continental United States.

He attended Columbia University and Harvard Law School.

Barack Obama was the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review.

He has two daughters, Mailia and Sasha.
